On November 9, 2016, the Taiwanese tech giant ASUS launched two new smartphones of its Zenfone flagship with massive batteries of 4,100 mAh in India, thereby expanding it’s Zenfone 3 series. In a recent interview about the new additions to the ASUS Zenfone Max family, Peter Chang, the Country Manage for ASUS India said, “With Zenfone Max 3, users can enjoy the experience for longer durations without having to look for a plug.”
The two variants of the smartphone ASUS Zenfone Max 3 come in two different sizes and at two different prices: the 5.5-inch variant is priced at Rs. 17,999 whereas it’s smaller sibling, the 5.2-inch variant, is priced at Rs. 12,999, proving that inches, indeed, are important.
What this smartphone consists of?
Coming to the new giant addition that has got everyone talking about itself, the smartphones feature a high capacity 4,100 mAh Lithium-polymer battery for extended battery life. The uniqueness lies within the fact that this smartphone can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices. The physical appearance is no less unique as it sports a 2.5D contoured glass touch screen integrated into a sandblasted full-metallic, aluminum alloy body with chamfered edges.
Designed for photography enthusiasts and selfie freaks, the two new ASUS Zenfone Max 3 smartphones boasts of a primary camera of 16MP size and an 8MP secondary camera and a 13MP primary plus a 5MP secondary camera, respectively.
It also ensures the complete security of your data with the latest fingerprint scanning technology fitted in the top of the rear panel. Talking about the CPU, while the 5.5-inch variant is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit Octa-core processor, the 5.2-inch variant is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor. Both of them boast a massive RAM of 3GB.Coming to the case of the storage capacity, the 5.5 inch variant of the ASUS Zenfone Max 3 has 32GB inbuilt memory which can be extended to 128 GB with a memory card. The other variant’s 32GB inbuilt memory can be extended to 64GB.
While the 5.2-inch variant has already hit the market shelves and online stores, the company has decided to bring the other variant into the market by the end of November.
