GWC Valves International On Military Reliance

The United States has been surveilling a site where a terrorist group has been frequenting. The group has been known and caught trying to plan attacks on the United States. As the United States was tipped off that the place they were surveilling was were the leader of the Shabab terrorist group, Moalin Osman Abdi, they quickly sent in the Navy SEALs. It is the first time since 1993 that an American is killed in Somalia combat. A couple were injured. As a result, the Pentagon and Americans have expressed their concern for having not enough military. At the same time, some Americans including employees at GWC Valves International with family in the military have expressed their concern for taking on unnecessary missions. Some are questioning the importance of taking on certain military missions when the United States could be focusing on themselves. Military reliance is important on our own land. It is also important to reach out and help other countries by being a global citizen. However, the United States has other concerns right now and Americans think their tax dollars could be better spent. What are your thoughts on the matter? Should the government cut back on one of the best armed forces in the world or should they continue their hunt for militants around the world? Weigh in on the question at GWC Valves International’s blog by looking them up. The company is always looking to join a new discussion.
