Play in multiplayer mode to rescue the general’s daughter or in single player mode to slaughter your enemies in Albatropolis. The controls and gameplay are easy to learn and the added video content and rich story really enhance gameplay.This chicken vs. penguin game uses dark humor to great effect, proving this game isn’t just another FPS for the Vita.
Sly Cooper – Thieves in Time – The newest release in this stealth action platformer game pits raccoon Sly Cooper and friends in a time-travel adventure with stunning visuals. The game adds new characters, new levels of play and new costumes that unlock hidden character powers. The Vita version of the game includes its own features — and makes excellent use of the Vita’s rear panel, touch screen and gyroscope — while being fully compatible with the native PS release.
Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable – This alien-fighting game expands on the Earth Defense 3 for PS and offers three gameplay modes: infrastructure, which allows you to play via the internet with up to three friends, co-op four-player mode and ad-hoc single player mode. The fan-fave Pale Wing character joins this game, as does an unlockable character, new missions, new enemies and new worlds.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus – The newest release in the ninja bloodbath adventure series, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus pits iconic ninja Ryu Hayabusa against enemies from New York to Tokyo in a hunt for the Demon Statue. The game features stunning visuals and intuitive controls that rely on the Vita’s six-axis motion controls.
Chronovolt – From game developer Player Three comes Chronovolt, a puzzle game with a steampunk bent to its worlds and characters. The title puts an interesting spin on the puzzle game concept; however, some reviewers have criticized the controls as being difficult to manipulate.
Let’s Fish! Hooked On – The team behind the popular SEGA bass fishing games just unrolled Let’s Fish! for the Vita. Hook and reel fish to win new lures and work your way up through 11 levels of competitive fishing. If you enjoy the fishing games for PS, give this one a try to put the Vita’s perspective tools and touch controls to excellent use.
